2025~2026 – Idaho HOSA State Officers

Idaho HOSA state officers are elected each year by two delegates from each affiliated HOSA chapter and an interview committee. Each candidate must give a 2–3-minute speech and then answer questions about HOSA during the delegate session held at the annual HOSA State Leadership Conference.

Emily Davis, Secondary President

President Emily Davis attends Meridian Medical Arts Charter High School in Meridian, Idaho. She has been an Idaho HOSA member for 3 years. After high school graduation, Emily hopes to attend Idaho State University on a pre-medicine track to become an OB/GYN. Her goal is to empower Idaho HOSA members to become leaders in their community and gain skills that will better them for the duration of their future.

Casey Self, Post-Secondary President

Post-Secondary President Casey Self currently
attends Payette High School in Payette, Idaho. Casey plans to attend the
College of Idaho pursuing the Nursing pathway to eventually become a CRNA. His
goals are to add new post-secondary chapters as well as a “How-To
Guide” for students in HOSA at the post-secondary level.

Kylie Meyer, Region I & II Vice President

Region I & II Vice President Kylie Meyer attends Meridian Medical Arts Charter High School in Meridian, Idaho. She has been a part of Idaho HOSA for 2 years now. After high school graduation, Kylie plans on attending University of Washington on a pre-medicine track to become a family medicine doctor. Her goal is to create a chapter mentorship system to help connect chapters and increase middle school chapter engagement to expand HOSA’s outreach.

James Campbell, Region III Vice President

Region III Vice President James Campbell attends Owyhee High School in Meridian, Idaho. He has been an Idaho HOSA member for 2 years. After high school graduation, he has a wide variety of universities on his list, however, as of now, he has not settled or committed to one. Regardless of the school, James will start on the path to become a Pediatric Surgeon. His goal for Idaho HOSA is to share resources that help further understanding and/or knowledge of medical careers specific to Idaho.

Alison Pitman, Region IV Vice President

Region IV Vice President Alison Pitman attends Meridian Medical Arts Charter High School in Meridian, Idaho. She has been a HOSA member for 2 years now. After high school graduation, she hopes to play collegiate softball, with the school yet to be determined on a track to become a pediatric oncologist hematologist. Her goal is to find innovative ways to guide all HOSA chapters to not only grow membership and competitive success, but be the best versions of themselves.

Vanessa Morales, Region V & VI Vice President

Vanessa Morales attends Mountain Home High School in Mountain Home, Idaho. She has been an Idaho HOSA member for 2 years. She hasn’t quite decided which university to attend but hopes to pursue a career in medical law or cardiology. Her goal is to encourage more interaction between HOSA members while simultaneously working to improve the community through community service projects.
